Meet Samuel

How I learned to swim in the offshore wind industry

Samuel Chang, one of our colleagues at New Power Partners

Hi,

I’m Samuel, and I have been a part of New Power Partners since July 2019.

I started working at the Changfang and Xidao project in Taiwan as Project Coordinator, and currently, I am working as Foundation T&I Engineer on the Zhong Neng project.

The Foundation T&I scope includes technical solutions and insight into the project, handling all the interfaces with other packages, the Contractor, MWS, and Fabrication, and organizing the operations planning.

Coming straight out of college and jumping right into a mega project was very challenging because I was faced with problems that never could imagine and was not prepared to solve. But thanks to very supportive leaders and colleagues, I quickly learned how to “swim” in the offshore wind industry and enjoyed every bit of it. In that way, my journey in New Power Partners has been very fruitful, and I am looking forward to what the future brings.

If you are looking for getting the most out of your career, New Power Partners is the place to work as we work with some of the best clients and on some of the most extraordinary projects in the industry.

Our working culture at New Power Partners is friendly, determined, and hard-working. Especially, reliability and trust are important parts of our culture. New Power Partners got your back when you need it, and the other way around too.

What I like the most about working in New Power Partners is that it is an international working environment. There is always someone with different experiences that I can learn from, and in that way, I develop myself.

It has been an incredible journey so far, and I am excited about the future ahead.
