our history
Over the years, New Power Partners has developed and grown considerably into being a preferred advisor and partner within the renewable industry with presence in many countries.
In 2016 our Site Solutions unit was founded by Peter Forsberg, an associated partner from New Power Partners with a focus on developing and executing fully tailored turnkey solutions in the onshore and offshore industries to support operational teams on site.
A couple of years later the founders recognized an increasing focus on accelerating the green transition together with a growing demand for expertise and knowledge gained through offshore wind operations. This led to the founding of our third business unit, Green Transition in 2019. Today, we are more than 120 colleagues and headquartered in Aarhus, Denmark, with additional offices in Copenhagen, Boston, Taiwan, and South Korea.

Our founding partners
Meet Thomas and Tonni – our two founding partners who established New Power Partners in 2015. Every day, they aim to accelerate the renewable energy transition via technical advisory and project management.
They started with the ambition of finding the 15 most skilled and best-in-class project managers in the industry. Now, eight years and more than 120 colleagues later, the philosophy is unchanged: We still hand-pick the most skilled and competent people within their field of expertise.
With many years of experience in the offshore wind industry – both with hands-on experience ranging from site managers to director levels – Thomas and Tonni strive toward being the preferred and leading renewable consultancy in the sector.
“Power to Projects” is our DNA. From the very beginning, Thomas and Tonni have focused on project operational power and the ability to react timely in a fast-paced decision-making environment.

We offer our employees flexible working hours, including the option of working from home. We recognize the importance of being remote-friendly, but also believe that there is no substitute for face-to-face collaboration. Both are important elements of our overall work philosophy.
We cherish a strong social community and frequently arrange events ranging from paddle tennis and escape room events to dinners and board games. It is important to us that everyone is happy with their colleagues, and you can participate in the social events to the extent you wish.
