We are proud to be involved in Korea’s first economic large-scale offshore wind farm project supporting our client in generating sustainable energy for South Korea. The Anma Offshore Wind Farm will consist of 38 turbine locations (14MW each), one offshore substation, and one onshore substation. The project is currently in the development phase and working towards FID with a commercial operation date in 2028.
We are providing key personal staff, such as package management roles for Foundations, Cables, WTG, and Construction Packages, to further push the Client’s ambitious project time schedules. Our experts have been involved from the early development phase and were directly steering the tendering process of the above-mentioned packages, like deciding on the tendering strategy, developing employer’s requirements, and so on.
Furthermore, we are reviewing and steering the FEED design process for the packages and the same will be done for the detailed design stage.
The next steps will be to steer the negotiations for the multi-tendering process for the above-mentioned packages and bring the project to the FID stage.
The Anma Offshore Wind Park is expected to produce more than 1,400GWh of electricity each year. The Wind Park will supply electricity to more than 1.4 million South Koreans annually and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 5.8+ million tons each year in comparison with coal-fired power plants.
