New Power Partners was tasked prior to the initiation of the Project to assist Northland Power in their Joint Venture negotiations with the Project Partners PKN Orlen in the Baltic Power Project, which will be Poland’s first installed Offshore Wind Farm.
Initially providing Subject Matter Expert advice on Transport & Installation and Foundation Scopes, we were pleased to be invited to remain with the Project post the Joint Venture signing, and our colleagues joined the Baltic Power Project team.
Our experts have occupied many key positions on the Project since 2021 including the following roles: WTG Package Manager, WTG Technical Manager, FOU Structural Engineer, WTG Electrical Engineer, T&I Manager, Lead Planner, Risk Manager, Project Controller, Deputy Cable Package Manager as well as providing support from our Graduates.
New Power Partners understands the complexities of emerging markets, this knowledge along with our flexible and professional approach has been applied in the provision of resources, sometimes at short notice to fill critical gaps in the Project team. We have become a trusted partner to the Project and our client who have both regularly called upon New Power Partners’ extensive development experience to de-risk and safeguard the Project.
As Baltic Power approaches Financial Close, we have great pride in knowing that our team has led and assisted with many of the key EPCI contracts, navigating through a challenging Contractor led market yet still producing bankable contracts. Our team will stay on Baltic Power for the construction phase, again utilising our extensive construction experience to ensure safe, timely, and de-risked installation activities.
Baltic Power is expected to ultimately supply clean electricity to more than 1.5 million households in Poland.
